I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at United Airlines (Newark, NJ) in Jan 2016
Interview
I originally applied on January 11th and on January 12th I was asked to complete the video interview via HireVue. It was pretty nerve wracking but I didn't mind having to speak to my phones camera. Be yourself, smile, dress appropriately and just have fun with it. They want to see the real you shine through. Don't try to be somethings you're not! All the questions that are on this site are EXACTLY what they ask on the video interview so what I did was just make a separate Word document, write the questions down and then write your own personal response to them. Practice reading them out loud so you get comfortable with what you're saying. I completed my interview on January 16th and by January 20th, I got the email asking me to set up a F2F interview! I plan on setting everything up today and I'm striving for getting something set for the 25th or the 26th of January. More than likely my interview will be in Newark since I live so close by. I'm excited and hopeful! I put no offer cause obviously no offer has been made yet :) good luck to everyone working towards their dream!

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
