The process took 1 day. I interviewed at United Airlines in Mar 2010
Interview
T first run is a phone interview, took one hour. Ask about background, recent projects, detailed technical question, behavioral questions and 3 IQ questions. The on-site interview has a paper test and a 1:1 oral interview. The oral interview is pretty much the same as the phone interview, one hour. The paper test has 3 sections, each 30 minutes time, including coding and basic technical questions.
I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines
Interview
Applied online through my university. I then received an invitation to complete an online interview. The online interview consisted of roughly eight questions that I had to record myself answering. I heard back a few weeks later and did not advance past this round.
Initial 'phone' screening (video recordings) and then on site interview. It was mostly behavioral. Overall it was a positive experience and they were very accommodating. The whole process was pretty late however. I first heard back about the phone interview about a month before school started again, and I got my offer 10 days before the semester started.
