I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at United Airlines (Chicago, IL) in May 2015
Interview
Upon arrival you were sent to a large room with about 30 other applicants and were given basic information about the position and possible bases. Individuals were called 1 by 1 to meet in another room with 3 recruiters (they were training some new recruiters). If they liked you, you were invited to a panel interview after a short break. my interview ended and I was asked to leave the room. Upon my return I was told that they would contact me via email in 5-7days.

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
