I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at United Airlines (Chicago, IL) in May 2015
Interview
Applied online, week later received invitation to video interview with HireVue. Don't be nervous for that, just be relaxed and smile! 4 days later invite to Chicago for face to face interview. United provided flight up the day before and return flight evening of interview. Around 30 people in the room. Watched video and had question time. Told that only base they are hiring for is SFO. Starting calling us out one by one for interview with approximately 4 people... only one did the talking, the rest were "training". Told to come back for 2nd interview in afternoon. Same set up, but only 6 of us remaining. Said they would email 5 - 7 days. 6 days later received TBNT. Bummer.

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
