      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Schneider Electric (Nashville, TN) in Jul 2025

      Interview

Interviewed only with an HR Talent Acquisition person. Was informed that the role applied to (which was posted only 4 days prior) was already filled. This is a sign of Ghost Job Posting. Also, the role was listed as "remote," yet was told it would be hybrid: 3 days in the office per week. Also, the salary range posted was also changed - 20% less than the posted pay rate. More red flags than a Chinese Military parade.

      Interview

The interviewers were provided clarity and were very informative about Schneider, explaining the details about the company culture and the challenges the team is currently facing. Overall, the interview was easy for me because I experienced most of the behaviour questions.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Schneider Electric in Aug 2019

      Interview

I started interviewing with a recruiter in late August, 2019. The role was part of a new team being hired to build a new platform capability for gathering data from thousands of devices. I was informed that the process would take time, but I had no idea how protracted it would become. I interviewed in-person with the hiring manager, the HR Director, and one of the recruiters. I eventually worked with three individual recruiters on the role. I had phone interviews with new team members as they got hired. I continually received very positive feedback. I was informed that no decision would be made until after the new year. Excuses were made as to the length of the decision process. I calmly persisted and always re-emphasized my interest in the role. In the second week of January, 2020, I had what was described as the final interview, onsite with the Product Management leader, and I was told, "It's basically a formality." A week and a half later I heard back from the recruiter that the PM leader had shot down my candidacy without any meaningful explanation. The entire time, the recruiting staff were pleasant and professional. Everyone treated me with respect until the outcome. I felt that, given the tremendous investment I made in pursuing the role, I should have received specific feedback on what happened in the final interview to cause that outcome. I suspect discrimination, but i have no proof.
