I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at PetSmart in Oct 2014
Interview
The online application took about 45 minutes to complete, and I was contacted via phone to set up an in-person interview several days afterward. For the in-person interview I met with the Pet Care manager, who was very kind, casual and friendly. He asked me very normal interview questions (what days/times are you available, why do you want to work here, what do you know about our store, etc.) and we also talked at length about my many experiences working with animals. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I felt comfortable with all the questions I was asked.

Question 1
The manager asked me if I had any allergies and if I was ok handling all the animals they carry in the store. He also showed me their back rooms and gave me a very good idea of what type of work I would be doing. I told him I was confident PetSmart would be a good fit for me, and he seemed to really listen and care about what I said.
very simple, one on one interview. asks basic questions! felt like talking to a friend instead of having a tense interview. got to know my manager in the process which was nice.
Pretty standard interview that you can expect from an hourly paying job. You may interview with as many as 2 managers depending on the job, and the interviews length is pretty standard.

I applied online. I interviewed at PetSmart (Oakville, ON)
Interview
I applied online and had an interview with the assistant store leader. I was supposed to have another interview with the store leader but they called me with the job offer before that. The interview happened in the dog training room.
