I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at PetSmart (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2018
Interview
I've had 2 interviews before. When I first got hired, the interview was spontaneous and very casual. I was asked the generic 15 questions most places ask you. My upbeat personality probably helped out a lot since I was hired on the spot.
My second interview however wasn't as great. I took a year off from the company and applied in my hometown only to be rejected. Despite my experience in most of the departments inside the store, I was rejected the job most likely because I was too confident and wanted to work more than 20 hours. This was a group interview.

Question 1
What would you do in a situation where a customer was upset with you?
Called me into the store and asked basic questions about what I'd be comfortable doing and hours that I would want to work. Very simple overall. Got a call back a few days later
Very disorganized in the beginning but I finally got in touch with the right person and the remainder of the process was seamlless. They were willing to take a chance on me and I really appreciated that
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at PetSmart (Plant City, FL)
Interview
Short and sweet. Offered job same or next day. Single interview and consisted of easy to answer questions and was with 2 managers, at the same time. Job was amazing! I only left due to a major car accident that caused a horrible back surgery.
