I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at NAVEX
Interview
Applied online, took a personality test and a timed IQ test. Got 2 phone calls, one from HR and one from a manager, who then offered to interview in person. The in person interview consisted of taking the IQ test again and then 2 rounds of interviews with 2 different groups. They asked mostly stereotypical HR bs questions no likes to answer (what is your weakness, why should we hire you)
No technical questions were really asked, which is odd since I think this position requires specific technical skills.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at NAVEX (Lake Oswego, OR) in Oct 2017
Interview
Fairly straightforward, an assessment, a phone interview and an in-person interview with job shadowing. The assessment had two parts one general aptitude the other related to the skills of the job.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at NAVEX in Sept 2016
Interview
There wasn't one. I applied online, was then asked to take the assessment portion later that day, and was contacted the following day to schedule an interview the next week which I gladly and eagerly accepted.
Less than 24 hours later, I was emailed this:
"The decision has been recently made to hire this position out of our Lake Oswego, Oregon office. I thank you for your engagement in our candidate process, and strongly encourage you to check-in with our careers page for additional opportunities. In any case, we wish you the best in all your future career opportunities."
I understand that things can change quickly, but this was a little odd. Everyone's time was wasted.
Thank you for your comments. We are a fast-paced growing company and things can change quickly. I do appreciate your point of view and the time you invested in our process.
