NAVEX interview questions

I had a phone screen with a recruiter who provided me with a brief overview of the job. I was advanced to the second round, feeling prepared for the interview. However, when I went in, I realized that the job description didn’t mention that we needed to be professional writers, which was what was actually required. I know how to document and write, but the interviewer was vague about the metrics, leaving me confused about what was expected. I wasn’t offered the job, which is understandable since the process didn’t meet my expectations and the job description didn’t align with what the interviewer had said would be done on the job. The recruiter had asked about empathy, but then the interviewer said that you couldn’t show any emotion and remain neutral, which was contradictory.

30-minute recruiter call in which we scheduled a second round interview. Before the second round, my interview was canceled and I was told an offer was both extended and accepted by another candidate. Based on the timeline, a decision had to have been made prior to any conversations we had and the recruiter was taking interviews with no intention to hire.
