Interview
3 step interview process: 1 - screening call; 2 - presentation & task; 3 - cultural fit. The whole process from application to offer took around 2 weeks. I really appreciated quick turnaround and feedback post each interview, which positively reflected on the company culture and professional approach of the recruitment team.

I applied online. I interviewed at Lyst (London, England) in Nov 2025
Interview
First stage was a screening interview, second competency, third case study then presentation. I spent 3 days preparing the presentation, the details provided was not well written with a number of grammar errors. I was invited to an in person interview following the presentation that was in 2 parts 45mins to present my case study, then a break, followed by another 45mins of your standard competency pm questions.
I then prepared to present however we spent 25mins of 45mins focused on my social media posts, I was asked about why I travelled to locations, who I met and more personal questions. The first part of this interview was all over the place and very personal.
We ran over to an hour. We skipped the break and went into the second stage. This largely focused with the engineer, designer and someone from product. The questions were written on a paper and when reading from them the follow up questions and the main questions were usually asked in one go, resulting in incredibly fluffy questions. Some of the questions were again focused on personal reasons for the role.
I did not get the role but overall the interviews with the team were focused on personal ambitions rather than skillset. More context here, I previously worked in the industry and left to launch an app. The company culture does not seem accepting of personal ambitions, and favour more common corporate ladder career trajectory - regardless of industry experience.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Lyst in Jan 2021
Interview
Very straightforward and transparent process, kudos to HR for the lean communication as well. It's basically formed of 4 steps:
- Phone screening with HR
- Home assignment
- Follow-up on the exercise + product problem-solving discussion
- Cultural fit: stakeholders management, behavioural questions
