I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Grainger in Apr 2011
Interview
The phone pre-screen addressed most of the basic questions like, "Have you ever been in a situation where you had to convince others to follow your way of thinking?" or "Tell me about a time you had to deal with a difficult customer and what did you do?" The in-person interview was a panel interview and I had to talk to three people at one time. Seemed a little strange.
They make it too difficult to get the job. As it it was a position for a supervisor. Not a fan of their interview process for being just a customer service rep that pays $13 USD an hour.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Grainger (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2015
Interview
There was a phone screen, then followed by an interview. It was a pretty basic interview. The normal questions were asked, and I felt pretty comfortable. The phone screen was easy to do, and they were easy to get in contact with. After this you complete a drug test and background check.
