Consisted of a virtual interview through hire vue and a final round interview that involved travel to Chicago and 3 interviews, including 1 case study interview. Overall, I was extremely disappointed in the process. First off, we didn't even get to see the EY office. We stayed in a hotel connected to the airport and interviews were conducted in the hotel. Second, all 3 of my interviewers were either extremely boring or not friendly at all. They constantly threw how "difficult" consulting and EY is in your face to try to prop EY up on a high pedestal, but it just comes off as uptight and braggy. None of my interviewers cared at all about getting to know me or asked me anything about myself. It was strictly interview questions and had no conversation at all. As soon as one question was answered they immediately moved on to the next question on the list. My case study interviewer was also not helpful or supportive at all throughout the process and came off as frustrated or tired from interviewing all day. After hearing a lot of positive things about EY and its status as a firm, I had no interest whatsoever in working there full time after my experience interviewing.
