The technical rounds were well-structured and relevant to the role, and the interviewers were professional and asked questions appropriate for someone with my level of experience.
HR Interaction:
Unfortunately, my experience with the HR round was disappointing. The HR representative, Harish Kumar, displayed unprofessional behavior during our conversation. Despite having 5 years of experience and clearly communicating my compensation expectations before the interview (₹14LPA, with an existing offer of ₹11LPA), I was told I was being "greedy" and received an offer of only ₹10LPA. Such language and negotiation tactics are not aligned with respectful hiring practices, especially for experienced professionals.
Overall, the technical interviews reflected EY’s standards, but the HR experience left a negative impression. I hope EY addresses such issues so professionals with substantial experience are treated with fairness and respect.
