I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (McLean, VA) in Nov 2013
Interview
Cursory phone screen to confirm resume details, ensure I had a pulse, followed by poorly-structured in-person interview consisting of a 30-minute video summary of benefits and three separate 30-minute sit-downs with a single individual. Each person was a different level, some had been assigned stock questions to ask (history, behaviorally-based, hypothetical, etc.), but not very well organized. The questions that I asked were answered very generically, and the specifics I heard from them were contradicted by my eventual experience.

Technician questions in Java and recent Java 11 familiarity?
The process is competitive and has many steps to it. They really care about how you would fit within the team along with your skills and experience. You do end up meeting quite a few people as you move through the process.
