I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2011
Interview
Once the application is reviewed and requirements are met, the human resources representative/recruiter calls for a phone interview. For new hires, the human resources representative calls to ask the applicant questions and determines if they meet the qualifications to have the phone interview, which they schedule for a later time with a recruiter. For existing associates, the recruiter calls for a short phone interview. Once the phone interview is complete, for both new hires and existing associates, an in-person interview is scheduled with the manager of the location (branch) that was applied to. After the in-person interview is complete, the manager may or may not follow up with the applicant to ask follow up questions. Many times these questions are scenario based, where the applicant decides what to do in any given scenario. If the applicant is considered for hire, the recruiter will call the applicant - usually within 2 weeks- to make an offer. If the offer is accepted, the applicant and recruiter determine the best start date.
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America (San Francisco, CA) in Sept 2017
Interview
Straightforward, they get to the point of how strong is your customer service kung-fu and what your sales record entails. They ask a lot of general bank questions to make sure you know your banking products. My manager also questioned me about my own interests and about myself to see if I would be a fit with the other coworkers. Great interview process overall.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America (Brea, CA) in Jul 2016
Interview
Interview process was fairly easy. Recruiter was very helpful all along the process. First it is a phone interview, then depending the outcome Recruiter will decide if you will move on to next step. I wished I was a bit more prepared. Not the hardest interview I've had.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America (Jacksonville, FL) in Feb 2016
Interview
The interview process was very basic. Only a phone interview so far. Asked many behavioral questions and asked in-depth questions on my resume. Seemed very average for a phone interview.
