I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Bank of America (Charlotte, NC) in Oct 2022
Interview
The interview process consisted of three rounds: an initial HR screening, a technical round, and a final managerial discussion. The technical round focused heavily on Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. I was asked to explain real-time project experience, including Kafka-based event-driven systems and REST API design. There was also a coding task involving multithreading and optimization. The interviewer evaluated both problem-solving skills and system design understanding. The final round was more about cultural fit, communication, and handling production issues in live environments.
