      Business outlook

      Pros

The work culture in Citi is outstanding and perks and benifits are better than other companies

      Cons

No job security No young management .the mangers are serving citi more than 20 years and they are very biased and all these managers are one gang and do favouritism for few employees No value for hardwork

Perfect place if you want to park your career

      Pros

Pros, very large company, many opportunities to network globally, and experience many different aspects of AG sub internationally significant bank

      Cons

Cons, Salary raises often don't beat inflation so every year you're paying a loyalty tax that you stay, forced bell curves, viewed assessment results with no clear guidance on how to improve on those results I don't know constant reorganizations and fear of layoffs, heavily political environment, promotions are not based on meritocracy rather on nepotism and who's been waiting in line the longest

      Fantastic organisation

      Business outlook

      Pros

      1. Good salary 2. Professional environment 3. Growth and learning opportunities 4. This review is for technical functional roles only. 5. Absolutely fair treatment towards woman, working mothers. I've observed least amount of discrimination in this organization.

      Cons

      1. Job security is not 100 percent at upper management level but compensation and other perks are generally fair. 2. Work life balance is a challenge for initial few years until one figure out the way of managing the life in citi ways of working :)

Good pay and vacation benefits, but poor management

      Sr. project manager
      Former employee
      Jersey City, NJ
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Pay is good. Because of seniority, good vacation benefits

      Cons

Poor management, job security, lack of stability, no good path for promotions.

      Chill Place to work

      Senior operations support specialist
      Current employee
      Chennai
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

assured growth , if you have rapport , promotion in every 12-15 months, good care of employee mental health , industry standard pay and job security since day 1 and the best part is work life balance.

      Cons

Some teams may make you feel toxic because of the sensitivity of the process handled or the volumes might be just too heavy but if you wait for 12 months, just go ahead and apply in a different team through IJP, go out of that team with a promotion, with minimum 38% hike, which feels just like you switched a company.

      Stressful and overworked

      Kyc operations analyst
      Current employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Great benefits, worked from home, some of the managers cared.

      Cons

I used to love working for the company until it went down hill. Gave them 10 Years and the last 4 years were rough. Over worked and under paid, end of the month goals were unrealistic, upper management never cares about their workers, the CEO was a big mistake to the bank, huge lay offs, stressful all around. The company didn't care about work balance at all. We stressed every day. Worked during vacation time just so we can hit goals.

      Business outlook

      Pros

(Admittedly) decent benefits package, great people

      Cons

No growth opportunities, constant layoffs, tout work/life balance publicly while working their employees to the ground, ridiculous RTO mandates that directly contradict their supposed bottom line of globalisation and simplification, horrible constant discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.

      Business outlook

      Pros

Slightly more flexible culture, very global

      Cons

Lots of changes by management has led to concerns about continued layoffs

      career growth opportunities

      Software developer
      Current employee
      Irving, TX
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

The work culture is collaborative, and teams are supportive. There are ample opportunities to upskill with internal training programs. Benefits and job security are solid compared to many other companies.

      Cons

Processes can sometimes feel slow due to the size of the organization. Decision-making often involves multiple layers of approvals, which can delay execution. Compensation growth may not always match market standards. Work-life balance can vary depending on the project and manager.
