Imagination Sponsors Bristol University Robot Wars On Saturday 2nd November, Imagination was proud to sponsor an action-packed Robot Wars event at Bristol University, hosted in collaboration with the Bristol Electrical & Electronic Engineering Society (BEEES). Students built robots under 150g, competing in intense one-on-one battles that kept the crowd on the edge of their seats, culminating in an epic Battle Royale featuring over ten robots in the arena. Throughout the day, Imagination connected with students, sharing insights into our technology and highlighting opportunities for future talent to join our team. Talks by Imagination team members Roger Walker and Mrudula Gore provided attendees with valuable perspectives on their work. The event concluded with Imagination’s Aylwin Thorne-Griffith presenting awards to the top three winners and the coveted "Imagination Favourite" Robot. Overall, it was a fantastic day of innovation and engagement. We’re already looking forward to the next event in March 2025!

Corporate Social Responsibility in India At Imagination, we are proud of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, and we’re committed to making a positive impact on the communities around us. In India, our team has partnered with two organisations that we are truly passionate about: The Akshaya Patra Foundation (TAPF) and Rotary International. We've had a longstanding relationship with TAPF in the UK and fully support their mission to combat hunger and malnutrition, especially among children, while also promoting education. Below is an infographic that highlights how our 2023/2024 donation to TAPF has contributed to improving the lives of those in need. We are excited to continue working with these organisations and strengthen our support for their remarkable causes.

Volunteering at Imagination At Imagination we believe in the double benefit of volunteering; for the volunteer who develops their skills and awareness, and the beneficiary who directly benefits from the intervention. This is why we’ve created a volunteering framework, helping our people to support causes that matter to them and utilise two days paid volunteering leave, separate to their annual leave. Whether it’s planting trees, sitting on a charity board or painting a community building, we want to enable our people to do good. You can read our volunteering framework on our website to see how the initiative works.
Charity Relay Run It's not all work here at Imagination, in May 18 of our people took park in a charity relay run. Whilst 8 ran in a local stadium in Wroclaw, 10 participated and ran virtually online. Despite the distances separating them, they united for a noble cause and enjoyed a fantastic time engaging in outdoor activity. The event promoted sustainability, and it was the perfect event to contribute to a meaningful charitable cause, while promoting health and teamwork among our employees.
Neurodiversity is not just an event we celebrate once a year, but something we talk about often at Imagination. During Neurodiversity Celebration Week in March, colleagues from our Kings Langley office gathered in our café to continue the conversations around Neurodiversity. We encouraged everyone to share their everyday "Quirks" with us - What a unique and individual bunch we all are! It was nice for people to open up and giggle about things that made us unique, but also in some cases find out we are more similar to others than we first thought.
Last month we celebrated our 2024 Imagination Awards. It was an afternoon of pure greatness and we recognised the great work and contributions of our people over the past year. We had many nominees and 11 well deserved winners! We are so lucky to work with so many inspiring people at Imagination.
