We’re incredibly proud to be named Law Firm of the Year at Greater Manchester Pro Bono Committee's 2024 Awards. We are dedicated to improving access to justice, particularly for children and young people, with our volunteers contributing nearly 20,000 pro bono hours last year. We collaborate with local organisations to develop innovative initiatives that respond to need in Great Manchester, including: - The Greater Manchester Law Centre to establish a litigation advice clinic - Not Beyond Redemption to help incarcerated mothers at prisons including HMP Styal maintain relationships with their children - The Greater Manchester Immigration Aid Unit (GMIAU) to provide free legal representation to undocumented children And much more. We have a trainee founded Climate Change Group (CCG) that brings together trainees, paralegals and apprentices across our offices to provide support to our firm’s fee-earners and pro-bono clients on topics related to climate change.
