Last week, our Plano and Houston offices dedicated our time to our communities volunteering at two inspiring local organizations. In Plano, we boxed fresh vegetables North Texas Food Bank to support its mission of ensuring local families have access to nutritious meals. In Houston we hosted a fun-filled bingo party for the special needs residents and staff of The Center for Pursuit.
Thank you to all the Mays Business School - Texas A&M University Aggies who stopped by to connect with us on campus last week and to the M.S. Finance/M.S. Quantitative Finance students that invited us to speak to their class. Sharing insights and opportunities with such talented and driven individuals exploring what’s next for their professional journeys was a rewarding and memorable experience for us. We see great potential in these bright, upcoming leaders!
BVA Group’s Laurie-Leigh White has been on the speaking circuit these past few months! She co-presented at the NCEO Fall Forum in Indianapolis on the topic, “A Valuation Report Review” alongside industry experts from Weaver and GreatBanc Trust Company. She also spoke at the ACEC Finance Forum in Denver on “Valuation Basics and Current Trends in Engineering Valuations” and led the “Let’s Talk ESOPs” sessions this summer for the TX/OK Chapter of the ESOP Association in Dallas and Austin.
