Band management! Manager is a bully because they are insecure

The culture of bullying, low pay, poor support.

A very toxic work environment where bullying is tolerated, people are pushed to their limits and managers do not have enough management experience to function in their roles. Some pretty shocking behaviour went on.

Worst place I have ever worked. No one speaks to you when you first start and even after that you have to spend everyday working to be a favourite, or else you’re treated like rubbish. Management act like they are still in high school and the environment is so toxic, practically bullied out the door. The pay especially for the sales advisors is terrible for what the job actually entails, so much work required for basically minimum wage. The contracts are also so small for part time so not much job security, you can be working full time hours but only getting the benefit of your tiny contract (to which there is no benefit). If you want to spend the rest of your life here then you will enjoy it but otherwise you are made to feel stupid and like an outsider.

They say they care about mental health needs,but they really really don't! Bullying by assistant manager and trainee manager. Too much pressure on sales assistants "perform" with regards to targets etc etc. Not a good place for your mental health especially since staff are pitted against each other.

Awful place to work management do not lead by example. No upholding or demonstration of the schuh values. The team wasn't great witnessed bullying plus racism. There also is no room for opportunity or growth. Up selling products an forced conversation with customers

Employing store managers who couldn't run a bath, never mind a store. Not listening to long standing staff who raise concerns. Ignoring mental health issues. Store manager bullies, who do absolutely no work.
