Pros

The people that work at Xe are the best in the business. Friends for life. Tight knit community.

Cons

- CFO looks down on people a lot. Not personable for the most senior team member in the office. Really unapproachable. On his phone during team meetings and looking really uninterested when other people are speaking. - Xe have a lot of legacy issues and instead of focusing their efforts on fixing these, they are too invested in new product offerings adding to the problems they already have. Frustrating. - they don't listen to the employees a lot of the time about what needs fixing and changing. Relies on high high up management dictating what initiatives to run. - The legacy members of the business get overlooked and not rewarded enough for their hard work and loyalty. - Morale is low due to high work loads and management not listening or caring. - Work life balance is difficult to manage. - Xe spend a lot of money flying executive team members first class and weekly around the world then complain costs need to be cut.

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. At Xe we take pride in our culture and work as a close-knit community; that learns, shares, and collaborates. We have many staff members that have a great tenure with us, and this is a testament to the culture we represent. However, on this occasion it seems we have fallen short, and we will use this feedback as a learning lesson. As an organisation we are ever changing and agile. To remain competitive in a market, where economic conditions are tumultuous. It is crucial for us to maintain a competitive edge with the products we launch. We are aware of our legacy issues, and this is being addressed by our Senior Management team to ensure we can operate with optimum efficiencies. It is critical as a business to retain our talent, and as such, we have taken efforts to ensure merit increases are awarded and employees are remunerated fairly. However, if you felt this didn’t meet your expectations and you wish to discuss your feedback further then please reach out to me on kay.shah@xe.co.uk.

Pros

Like the company location in Newmarket, it is a little bit far from the city, but you always drive against the traffic so no problem if you have a car. XE has a fascinating story. It started with two Canadian entrepreneurs and they created the best-known brand for online currency converter application. Although both of them are not in the company after acquisition by Euronet, you can find few loyal and fantastic employees that love what they are doing. XE pay is slightly above the industry average and also provides benefits for full-time employees. Depends on the team you are, you can expose to interesting projects and improve your skills.

Cons

The main challenge is XE is in transitioning from a small /mid-size business to become corporate. As a result, no clear objectives and strategies defined, and it causing lots of confusion. In this situation, anything you deliver is not aligned with the expectation. So you may feel you are always not good enough to make them happy.
