Profit sharing is bad

Pros

The health benefits, are great. They have their own doctors office, pharmacy and 2 gyms locally in Columbus. The office space is newly renovated.

Cons

Cylinders profit sharing is a joke. I have missed my "projected" salary every year by a significant amount. Base pay is way below market value. They promote an open door policy, but if you say anything negative about profit sharing you have a target on your back. HR rarely has been helpful. They make it very obvious they are there to protect the company and don't rely care about most employees. If you aren't part of the fraternity that is the sales team you have no shot at advancement. Upper management (very sales driven) makes selfish what's better for me decisions over what's better for the company. Their innovation group is a black hole. I have been with the company for 5 years and not one product has been brought to market.

Pros

Benefits are in line with other employers in Columbus. Don't believe the hype of "best places to work" - they move out anyone who doesn't rate it highly.

Cons

This is a good old boys network underneath the public relations. The presidents really just want people to obey. Objective discussion is not allowed, and HR will move out anyone who is different. Not progressive, not healthy. No place to invest for your future.

Pros

Great pay and benefits. Profit sharing is great because the company.

Cons

If you are not part of the boys club, you will never go anywhere. If you are not liked, you have a target on your back. I have seen sales people fired because they did not fill out a form correctly. I have watched another sales person just not show up any more because they are so stressed out and cannot take the office humiliation. We preach the Golden Rule but do not live by it. It
