Pros

The salary and benefits package is above market rate

Cons

The company is an unrelenting masterclass in mismanagement, incompetence and bigotry. The company is beyond disconnected with the industry, both in the sense of working ways and understanding the difference between cause and effect. Using marketing techniques that would have felt dated in the 90s and sales targets that Jordan Belfort would find impossible has led to a perfect storm. The major issue the company faces and has faced for some time is staff retention. This will continue to be the headline issue until management issues are addressed and the company starts to listen to its customers.

Pros

- They have many highly skilled employees (probably sucked in by the high salaries) who are extremely proficient and knowledgable in their department. - Due to the incredibly poor management there is a great bond between the team, who work hard together to clear up the trail of disaster left by their incompetent line manager. - The salary is relatively good.

Cons

- It’s an incredibly sexist environment with certain incidents that even the seventies would have raised their eyebrows at being swept under the carpet. - Promotion is a game of who is liked most/who can talk the talk/who is cheap. Not who is suitable, this has created a disorderly environment of employees struggling to get things approved and having to teach line managers basic requirements of the job. Making employees roles unnecessarily harder. - Employees aren’t listen to. - London, New York move over, Scotland is the top spot for industry leading spirits and pinnacle cocktails. - The company is about ten years behind, its dated beyond comprehension.
