Pros
- Nice Office - Free Lunch - Good Product
Cons
- If you want to spend your entire day cold calling, this is a great place to go (this is not an exaggeration). Marketing DOES NOT help you fill 20% of your pipeline as they say they do. - Bunch of foul mouthed frat boys from Danville (if you're not in the click, you're out) - Zero manager help to either develop you as a rep or set you up for success in the role - No manager will ever take responsibility for their short comings and will blame you if things fall through. - If you're in the wrong territory and don't have a pre-existing network of resellers and an underdeveloped territory, forget the concept of making money or being successful. There is zero help in this area so not only are you responsible for finding new business but also responsible for finding people to sell for you. - HR violations are all over the place, women are constantly put in awkward positions based on some of the comments I've heard. - If you want to work for managers that haven't actually hit their own number but got promoted because of their social connections, then take a closer look. - Hopefully you don't live in SF because that commute gets real old. - Also the pay is not great, other start ups pay more. Bottom line: Not worth it.. there are much better places to work where you can feel like a human being, make more money and not feel like you're working in a sweatshop.
