- Pay not great
- No upward advancement
- Quarterly bonus pay is abysmal & offers no incentive to exceed in the role
- Company not very diverse
- HR department was dissolved. HR staff that had been with the company for years were let go without any warning. Loyalty means nothing, it seems
- Managers are so swamped that multiple days will go by without them seeing your messages/emails
- SEO role is not just SEO. It is a project management role with SEO tasks. You are expected to do 2 jobs even though there is a project manager for each product.
- If you don't fit the expected mold, you won't get help. The managers like to "give direction, not directions" but if you are struggling, they will do nothing extra to help you succeed.
- Expectations were extremely unclear. When I requested clear-cut expectations (MULTIPLE TIMES) I was told I "should know".
- Products and teams are all over the place. No one really knows what's going on or what's happening.
