I applied online. I interviewed at Veracity Insurance Solutions (Orem, UT) in May 2025
Interview
Three interviews total, starting with a recruiter phone screen, followed by a technical interview covering troubleshooting and systems knowledge, and concluding with a panel discussion focused on culture fit, communication skills, and real-world support scenarios.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Veracity Insurance Solutions (Utahna) in Jul 2025
Interview
The initial screening with the recruiter went very smoothly.
The second-round interview with the TPO lead was an engaging and positive conversation - she took time to understand my background, walked me through the role's requirements, and discussed how well I aligned with both the position and the company culture. At the end of the interview, she shared that she would be recommending me for the next round.
Afterward, the recruiter asked if I was available for a panel interview on Monday, right after the long holiday weekend. I let them know I was available any day after Tuesday, and we scheduled the panel interview for Friday morning. I confirmed and accepted.
However, on Wednesday, I received an unexpected email saying the team had decided to go in a different direction. No explanation was provided. I was surprised and disappointed, especially since I was never given the opportunity to complete the panel round.
It left me wondering—was the decision influenced by my unavailability on Monday? Being rejected before the final round, without feedback, made the experience feel abrupt and unclear.

Question 1
About my background and capability to handle different situations for the role
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Veracity Insurance Solutions in Apr 2024
Interview
I had a three-round interview, including a phone interview with the Director of Content, a video panel interview with the Director and three copywriters, and a final video interview with the Director and the VP of Marketing. Communication was prompt and clear. While the interviews were largely informal and chatty, I appreciated the uniqueness of the questions --they were clearly designed to make sure I was a) serious and knowledgeable about marketing copywriting (insurance knowledge was negotiable), b) thoughtful about how I fit into a team dynamic, c) hungry and proactive, and d) able to think on my feet and express myself well. The questions were far from boilerplate and sometimes intentionally difficult to answer. Balance humility with honesty, intelligence, and ambition in your responses, and you'll do well. Note: You'll need a high-quality, wide-ranging writing portfolio to get to your first interview. This likely won't be your first marketing copywriting job, but it might be your second or third.
