Having attended the assessment day I was really disgusted with the arrogance of the Venatrix team. They expect candidates to drop everything to attend their glorified assessment day. And the lack of diversity that is shown in the Venatrix "Talent Team" is also represented in the pool of candidates that they choose.

So the business model is a great idea, I believe personally. However, the execution is nothing short of terrible. The assessment day was one of the most patronising and condescending events I had ever been to. I’m a 22 year old graduate, who had to fight with other graduates to put our hands up to answer questions such as “why is drive important?”. It felt more like a Primary school than a company who has years of experience in placing grads into roles. The leaders of the day were very abrupt in the interviews in the afternoon also. The most telling thing I suppose was that the interviews failed to elicit any information that a half decent interviewer would have. It seemed like Venatrix had googled all their questions. Other than that, you are made to wait in a room doing nothing for long periods whilst the interviewers get their ego stroked.
