      No mercy company

      Pros

      After the acquisition of Red Box, Uniphore restructured and make all of us redundancy.

      Cons

      They did not considered the business in Asia Pacific and all of us in Hong Kong was laid off after the organization restructure, they did not consider the long-term business for Greater China and all the existing customer feeling. Even as a Sales person, we felt concern about retaining our customers. Even as a support person, we felt the company do not show mercy and immediately terminated us without considering the customer point of support. Overall, the company just decided to lay people off without considering a stronger and more sounding plan for Asia.

      Working in a good market but not in the right way. Just a show business.

      The reviews here are all fake. Most of them have been written by current employees when the HR pushes them. Petty politics. Unethical practices.

      Toxic work environment, favoritism, problematic product suite

      Good benefits, skilled and experienced workforce

      Cons

      This is one of the worst culture I have ever experienced in my career where there is so much favoritism going on. You have to be liked by management in order to sustain otherwise you will get easily pushed down. You have to constantly prove yourself to survive. Things are very bias, unfair treatment to employees with regards to award and recognition. Unless you are in management sphere, your visibility is zero. Lot of big talks with no strategic plan on execution.
