Lots of old code, siloed teams, lots of faces changing

After the mass layoffs and management changes, the culture felt different. The core values seemed less visible in day-to-day operations, and communication from upper management felt more distant. While the company holds a “Great Place to Work” certification, my personal experience did not always fully reflect that. I also felt that communication around layoffs could have been handled more personally, as direct conversations with managers would have helped provide better closure.

Phycological safety is preached, but not everyone is feeling it.

No opportunity for advancement Executive team does not listen to those who know better Will often be asked to perform work outside of your role without compensation No consideration for employee or team burnout No backfilling of employees who left, followed up by layoffs but no reduction in expected output Flex hours are not really flex hours No team activities etc. Benefits lacking in key areas

The software works but the architecture of it is in great needs of improvement.
