If you brown-nose upper management, you will get promoted. It doesn’t matter how productive you are because it’s all politics and nepotism. Some of the most productive people received the least amount of recognition, which is why they can’t retain top talent. I learned a few lessons working here, but do not recommend this organization to anyone who cares about their career.
P.S. I am not just some “disgruntled employee” who wants to bash the organization. Again, (some) of the people are the company’s greatest treasure, but that gets overlooked by the lack of direction, professionalism, and engagement of upper leadership. Bottom line, TIG needs to restructure its leadership or the current personnel need to remember what it means to be a leader if they ever hope to retain top talent.
