Pros

I was laid off from a previous employer for lack of contract funding, so I was desperate to find another job. I chose Telligen out of necessity. Casual dress code They'll probably pay you whatever you ask for, considering how unqualified everyone is around here.

Cons

Where to begin... NO 401k match. Their ESOP program is also a joke. Don't listen to them. MICROMANAGING is rampant. They track your break times by the minute and will reprimand you if your total break time within four hours exceeds 15 minutes. DISCRIMINATION is all over the place. Devout Muslim employee was reprimanded regarding their break time. Management cited that the Muslim employee was PRAYING TOO MUCH. When contacting HR about this, nothing came of the issue. Manager's don't know how to interpret big data, or ANY data for that matter. Export any raw population data to any readable format under the sun, and they will make the most statistically fallacious assertions you will ever see. Without going into detail, a current manager I work alongside might ACTUALLY be the dumbest person without mental disability I have ever met from any setting in my ENTIRE LIFE and I would feel worse for them if they showed even a modicum of guilt or remorse for their abusive actions towards employees. Quite frankly, I am disgusted even thinking about them. The company is extremely unethical but there's probably an NDA or two I would break by expanding on this any more than saying the company is unethical. Aside from tangible evidence, let me just say that every moment I spend here is a dystopian, Kafka-esque Hell that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemies. Some days I just stare at the computer screen and wonder how long I could survive with the money in my bank account if I left at this very moment. Telligen is a ball and chain attached to your life, and if you choose to work here, just know that you will never be able to evoke change, no matter how hard you try, and you will turn into a jaded mess. Stay away.

Pros

competitive salary and yearly bonus

Cons

-like MANY other reviews have said the culture at Telligen is negative and toxic -focus is on quantity not quality -management is out of touch with their employees -salaried position in which they discourage breaks (lunch etc.) and encourage working longer hours -extremely hard to get days off (vacation time, doctors appointments etc. unless you have FMLA) -they LOVE employees who suck up to them & have favorites -managers have unprofessional relationships with their favorite employees (boundary issues) -employees are given power/authority over their coworkers even when that isn't their job- which creates hostility towards one another -Technology is extremely outdated. -Very cheap and won't invest in new computers, headsets, splitters etc. in order to do your job -system on which you chart on crashes multiple times a day losing all of your charting -they say they want young people and want to retain millennials but don't understand the concept of "work-life balance" -work environment is "high school like" with clicks, favoritism, dirty looks, and dishonesty -not able to work from home due to lack of technology -medical insurance is terrible and expensive -401k match was changed to employee owner stock -if you have more than 3 sick days per YEAR you get an "occurrence" which add up to disciplinary action -most nurses & management have been out of practice for 6+ years and giving patients advice that is not evidence based & out of date -for nurses NO opportunities to advance due to being such a small company
