Pros

WFH, computer provided Passionate co-workers Decent pay

Cons

Company isn't as open to feedback as they make it seem. Lack of communication and limited mutual understanding between departments. Poor communication when first hired regarding getting accounts set up, left dangling. No loyalty to workers. Limited opportunity to advance or grow skillset. CS deals with a lot of flack from justifiably upset customers (poor company communication re factory delays to customers, taking on too many orders when already far behind production schedule, etc.). Bizarre and uncomfortable social media and email practices in an attempt to be quirky. Questionable HR department that doesn't care for the underlings. Clear divide between higher ups and those who work hard to keep the company going. Company tweeted offensive joke about Afghanistan. Many customers were understandably upset and claimed they would not longer support the company. Employees were asked to provide honest feedback re how the tweet represented the company's values....and a week later (with the insensitive tweet still up for days in the meantime), six CS workers were called into a zoom chat that lasted about a minute and were fired. Immediately locked out of computers, zero separation paperwork, struggle to contact company. Deceitful and potential nepotism at play.

Pros

Great benefits, great PTO, friendly team of co-workers, fun company get-togethers, and overall a culture that was amazing to work in!

Cons

Not a lot of room to make suggestions for improvement, and definitely not room for kindly asking the crew to remove an untimely company tweet that was offensive to our general customer population....because that one might get you and 5 of your co-workers fired.

Pros

All the tools you need to do your job Good pay and opportunities for overtime Full-time remote position Great benefits (PTO, health insurance, etc) Friendly coworkers

Cons

Communication with other departments is often poor and CS is usually the last to know about a new product, feature, sale, etc. Performance metrics are always changing without clear communication about the change. When the pandemic hit, there was lip service about "don't worry about metrics right now", which ended up being an empty and false statement. They praise those who do 3x the work as everyone else, provide very little positive feedback, and send surveys out to see how agents feel but don't bother to enact any change based on that feedback or be transparent about the survey results. The biggest issue - no content guidelines for what they will print. I got tired of having to help customers who were printing blatant nazi propaganda/symbols and the senior management having no issues with this. The company also put out a tone-deaf BLM statement and went silent when there was pushback from the public. Diversity and Inclusion are pretty bad here. The CS manager tries to be better in this realm but the company as a whole li slacking in this and it's not a priority. Very few opportunities to advance within the company. Above all, it felt like the CEO cared more about money than people.
