Pros
WFH, computer provided Passionate co-workers Decent pay
Cons
Company isn't as open to feedback as they make it seem. Lack of communication and limited mutual understanding between departments. Poor communication when first hired regarding getting accounts set up, left dangling. No loyalty to workers. Limited opportunity to advance or grow skillset. CS deals with a lot of flack from justifiably upset customers (poor company communication re factory delays to customers, taking on too many orders when already far behind production schedule, etc.). Bizarre and uncomfortable social media and email practices in an attempt to be quirky. Questionable HR department that doesn't care for the underlings. Clear divide between higher ups and those who work hard to keep the company going. Company tweeted offensive joke about Afghanistan. Many customers were understandably upset and claimed they would not longer support the company. Employees were asked to provide honest feedback re how the tweet represented the company's values....and a week later (with the insensitive tweet still up for days in the meantime), six CS workers were called into a zoom chat that lasted about a minute and were fired. Immediately locked out of computers, zero separation paperwork, struggle to contact company. Deceitful and potential nepotism at play.
