Pros

-Free treatments -Great healthcare insurance -I made some great friendships/connections

Cons

I truly came into this role and had high hopes that this would be my forever work home and for the first 5-6 months it was great for the most part. Then the real culture and values of the company set in and its clear mental health, work/life balance, and ethical practices for clients is not one of them. As a company that prides itself on "people first" and "results" for clients - this company is a joke. Machines went down weekly, medical protocols were changed monthly with no rhyme or reason, and the settings are SO low on the machines that realistically the treatments don't do anything. If your machines are down and you're unable to treat clients, you are still expected to meet and exceed these crazy KPIs/goals or you will be reprimanded and called out on "team" calls. And please forget about bonuses, that's a pipe dream and it's structured so you don't receive one. Your team in the front is constantly being yelled at because your clients can't receive the treatments they are paying for and upper management doesn't give you any tools or verbiage to help with the downfall. It's pretty much just a fend-for-yourself situation. During one of my last calls, before I quit, I was told that I wasn't allowed to ask questions about anything because the team's chats were only used for "positivity" and not questions with negativity when I asked for help. Towards the end of my time with Skin Laundry, I felt so drained, unhappy to go to work, and filled with anxiety all the time. The company is bleeding money and can't afford to pay their Nurse Practitioners so they are trying to push them out and backfill them with Aestheticians, which is what they should have done in the first place but didn't have the right attorneys or the business sense to look into the Texas laws. The providers work 11 hrs a day and have a full schedule almost every day, they are overworked and unstimulated because the company has taken all of the autonomy from the providers to build rapport with the client, give a treatment plan, and utilize their license. There's so much to say but at the end of the day, I would not recommend joining this company as a provider or management. They don't care for you as a person and don't offer you the support to help build your business and clinic. Moving up within the company is a popularity contest and as soon as you start to voice your opinion or questions, you will be ostracized.

This company is a scam

Pros

I really enjoyed working with the other ACM and the nurses.

Cons

This company is a huge scam. They lie to get you in the door and give you a ton of stipulations after you’re hired. Since I started in October, the company has gotten rid of most management positions in clinic, but has expanded their corporate department. They have gotten rid of all in clinic staff perks, there is no more bonus for ACM’s, only clinic managers get bonuses. The devices are constantly changing without notice, and in clinic staff is forced to take the brunt from customers. There is no support from management, clinic managers or upper management. This company likes to promote inclusivity, but it is far from being inclusive. When I expressed my needs to management, they were not accommodating with my doctors appointments. I also felt like my disability has been used against me. I do believe I have a case against this company for the mistreatment I have suffered.
