On the point about fees, customers only see the 10% charge because this is all that Saltroad charges them. The 20% fees is a cost to you, the therapist, not the customer. If you pass this on to the customer, then you are increasing the cost to the customer.
Our model is the same as being employed or working as an associate for any private practice, where the full service price does not get paid to the therapist.
With Saltroad, you keep 80%. A typical associate role is more like 50-60%, and as employee, only 30-40% of the service fee will make it to you.
We will be adding therapist reviews in the not-to-distant future.

We tend to find that demand naturally fluctuates up and down in different areas throughout the year.
But we do have some plans in place to try to better balance referrals against the number of active therapists we have in specific locations, so hopefully we should see some improvements here over the coming months.
