Pros

- Learned loads of great technology, although the "project manager" seemed a bit disengaged which sometimes left us unsure of the best course of action - Real project was great for learning on - Awesome team - Expenses covered

Cons

- Aggressive management - co-ownership/company wide meetings incredibly unappealing. Like I get the idea of hold staff wide meetings where everyone gets a say in the direction of the company, But I'm not into that whole "let's pretend we all own a bit of this company and have joint responsibility" thing. Whether I'm working at expense, or being paid, I'm just that. I will do my job to the best of my ability but the direction of the company is complete out of my scope of interest with a significantly higher incentive.

Pros

Amazing team, amazing work driving tech forward and uncompromising on quality, speed and purpose.

Cons

Senior management is sporadic and disorganised. Priorities change constantly and employee feedback is non-existent if you're not in the favoured few. Beware in-group/ out-group mentality from founders.

Pros

Trying to write a list of pros for working at Red Badger is pretty tough - it's difficult to put down in words. For me personally, it's about the people, the projects, and the culture. I work day-to-day with inspirational, thought-provoking, fun people, who push the boundaries of what can be achieved. The projects we work on are ground-breaking, both in terms of the technology and the processes we use to run them. The culture is a byproduct of both of these things. Everyone is engaged and invested in the overall success of the company, something that in my experience is very rare in other similar businesses. We also like to let our hair down over a drink or 3.

Cons

Being part of a company that is evolving so rapidly is what makes working for Red Badger so exciting. We always have a say in what works and doesn't, and ultimately we help steer the future of Red Badger. If you don't like change, a career here is definitely not for you! Other cons: sometimes we run out of Prosecco in the beer fridge.
