Red Badger’s approach to digital product development and their marketing initiatives appeared genuinely exciting, and I was initially enthusiastic about the opportunity. The recruiter who coordinated my interview was thoughtful and communicative, and I appreciated their professionalism.
Unfortunately, my experience during the hiring managers interview wasn’t great. I found it difficult to properly convey my professional experience, as I was frequently interrupted while answering questions. When I inquired about campaign tracking methods used by the team, I was told that my interest in marketing analytics might make me better suited for a different role, despite analytics being integral to growth marketing.
It’s now been over two weeks since the interview, and I haven’t received any follow-up or feedback. While this is not entirely surprising given the hiring manager’s demeanour, I see it as being for the best and perhaps reflective of Red Badger’s internal culture.
