Likely The Most DETAILED REVIEW You will see for this company at this point of writing (For Technical Role)
Pros
This may be the most detailed and honest review about this company that you will see here in Glassdoor at this point of time. I want to clarify that I don't have any grudge against the company or whatnot, I left the company in peace. Reason being of this review is, I just want to give back to the community for them to assess the company before joining. Take in mind that I've written this on this on this specific date, so the experience I had was before this and any other CHANGES in the company in the future might invalidate or diminish the legitimacy or validity of this review. TAKE NOTE as well that this is my personal perspective, once you get in the company and find this review not suitable for you or you find this review an understatement for you or too exaggerated. It's all good as we have different point of view and approach in life. Whatever works for your or doesn't work for you doesn't mean it will be applicable to all. In the end, it's all up to YOU. I will review the technical role position experience, be it you are in post sales or presales you can benefit from this review. REVIEW Starts here: ***Technical Aspects( If you will be assigned on a Technical Engineer (Systems Engineer for Support and Implem) role or Technical Sales Role (Presales or Solutions Engineering)*** PROS: -Exposure to different technologies (theories and hands-on experience alike), in a nutshell, you will have a first-hand experience on learning and configuring various solutions and it's up to you how will you take on the task/s. Mind you it can be overwhelming and lead to burn out at times but oh boy the experience you will gain here will lead you to greater heights of your career. -Technical roles are VERY GOOD for freshers and intermediate engrs who wants to break into the field of IT, Infosec, Network Sec, Cybersec etc as the company has very diverse solutions and lot of room for your to explore and improve or expand their experience, as technical roles here will provide you good learning curve and actual exposure to configurations and client-facing activities and will give you overview of how end-to-end technology solutioning and solutions integration takes place beginning from Presales up to Post-sales. ***Other good perks and opportunities outside and some areas of the Technical Realm** -SOME TEAM Leaders and Team Members, mind you not ALL - will guide you and provide you a SAFE place to grow and develop your strength and will allow you to be a better version of YOU. (Do your research first and know well enough who will be your immediate supervisor/manager - Connect with people, ask questions, research, research, research and don't be in a hurry to join when offer comes as this will be your CAREER not anybody else's) -Pretty decent Leave credits -Implements Hybrid Work Setup (Ask more about this during your interview and get a concrete information as this varies from role) -Great compensation as you move up the the promotion ladder -Decent HMO Coverage
Cons
CONS: -LONG WORK HOURS (TAKE NOTE that Work Shift here Starts at 8:30am until 6:30 PM Monday-Friday in most roles. Overtime and Weekend work and Outside Metro Manila assignment is sometimes required) Think many times if this suits you in the long term. -Presales Tasks, Implementation and Support can be OVERWHELMING at times - For Technical Roles and other alike. (Presales, Sales, etc.) -Overpriced Employment, Training and Certification Bonds (You might ask why this a con? isn't it just fair for the company to put you in a bond after they invest in your training and certification? My answer is YES, it is fair but mind the first adjective that I've put in the beginning if this item "Overpriced" it is fair to put bond for the employee as the company is investing time and resources for your learning but make it more reasonable and just for the employee as you will also use up his time, energy and effort to handle your valued clients along the way. It should be a mutual appreciation of the efforts invested. We know that this is a "Business" but please consider that these are also people who want to grow their economic status in life and working to thrive for their families, careers, aspirations and will be in a "Bond" because they are sent and assigned to study and pass the certification for your carried solutions which will result into higher customer satisfaction and retention because the customer is satisfied with the result of support and technical expertise they are getting out of the person. -"Bureaucracy" and favoritism among teams and departments, leaders are strong sometimes. Again, I said SOMETIMES not all the times. Teams, Process and roles are being overstepped or being favored more over other teams and peoples, in favor of someone who's having a "more important" deal, more important role or opportunity presented.
