Pros

Met people across diverse communities and gained leadership opportunities.

Cons

1. Working at MAD was one of the hardest experiences of my career and not in a way that made me grow. 2. The work culture is toxic. Internal politics and personal biases drive decisions more than merit or fairness. 3. Management lacks professionalism, and there are virtually no boundaries between your personal and professional life. Over time, that takes a serious toll on your mental health. 4. Employee retention is terrible for a reason. Most people push through about a year before they've had enough and leave. I've seen it happen over and over. 5. I would not recommend working at MAD to anyone. The environment is oppressive, and the support simply isn't there. 6. To make things worse, there is no proper employee induction or training. From day one, you are thrown in the deep end with no guidance, no structure, and no support. 7. That said, if you genuinely care about making a difference in a child's life, volunteering is a different story. The direct impact you can have on a child is real and meaningful.

Pros

Working in a Sales role helps build strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, as you interact with different types of clients daily. It offers good earning potential through incentives and commissions, which directly reflect your performance. The role is dynamic and fast-paced, keeping you engaged and motivated. It also provides valuable market exposure and opportunities to understand customer behavior, which can be beneficial for career growth into higher roles like Sales Manager or Business Development.

Cons

High pressure to meet targets and long working hours.

Cons

Leadership: Drastic Decisions. Child-Centric to Social Media-Centric. Mere surface-level impact on the field over the past couple of years. Indecisive decisions regarding hiring and firing.
