It was a well-curated interview with progressive questioning that felt more like an engaging conversation than a formal Q&A. The discussion explored what I do, how I could bring my skills and experiences into the role, and how I approach handling different situations. They delved into my experience in working with partners, resolving conflicts, and aligning with an organisation’s vision, culture, and team dynamics. We also spoke about my ability to be a good team player, my openness to feedback, and how I adapt and contribute in collaborative environments.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Most of the questions were situation-based, designed to understand my approach and decision-making. For example, they presented scenarios around conflict resolution, and others that explored how deeply rooted I am in my values and what principles I hold people accountable to. There was also a practical task where I had to demonstrate aspects of the role, such as how I would bring in more stakeholders, engage community members like volunteers, or drive the fundraising component.

It has to be noted that the HR was really sweet and warm during all interactions, or one may say whenever they wanted the candidate to turn up for the interviews, and once that was done the "we will let you know if 2 days" never arrived for them. Which is unfortunate, I hope that the Hiring team is fine. And extend the warmth in letting people know the bad news too - give honest feedback and close the loop.

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Is this (role) something you will feel fulfilled by? Will it be something that will make you look forward to work everyday? It is work dear Sir, we do it to meet ends, and yes most of the time we would love to be motivated by it every second of every day but that will be a brutal lie, we live in a capitalistic world.
I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Make A Difference (New Delhi) in Aug 2024

First, there was a one hour session to introduce the organisation. Then they gave us half an hour to prepare a topic to "teach" depending upon the subject and class we chose. You have to do a roleplay where you teach and the interviewer pretends to be a child. The girl who took my interview was very sweet.
