Pros

Able to win some projects from bankers, dealing with nuts and bolts stuff like data centres and warehouses, nothing special except for some reliable cash

Cons

There is actually one benefit of the lockdown this year that we wont have to pretend enjoying the cliquey event at Claridge's. A bit tired of hiring black tire at the last minute last year, then even more tired to hobnob with high profile clients at the scene just to show how good we are at spending design fees. Why didnt we all just enjoy hearty burgers in Croydon high streets? Just be who we are and do what we are best at.

I'm in a great team with a good director, so we have an open and effective team

Members of other teams (especially younger staff) have struggled to feel appreciated and senior management seem to be uninterested

Thank you for your feedback and your comments, they will be taken on board. We are always keen to make improvements on staff experiences, at all levels, and as part of this, we are keen to ensure we welcome new young engineers into the business so they feel included and appreciated. We have a Young Engineers Forum internally which meets once every quarter which has recently been a huge success and the feedback has been very positive. Our Graduate development scheme has also recently been shortlisted for two external industry awards, so we are delighted to confirm the scheme has become more successful at supporting and integrating our younger members of staff.
