      Pros

      Get to travel a little bit.

      Cons

      Kind of like a glorified help desk employee. You may get to travel but it's not all luxury and 5 stars like at McKinsey or BCG. Sometimes you share rooms with other employees and it always the cheapest flights. Total comp is quite low, its even lower than a back office employee at a middle market bank. It's not as easy to build a network with other banks/hedge funds because they do not tend to treat you very well. I had to leave as soon as I could.

      travel, flexible, expenses, accommodation and good community in Hong Kong

      Cons

      Pay below market rate, hard to leave accommodation provided, hard to move off expenses and a lot of out of office hours work required on grad scheme
