Little room for growth.

Pros

They have creative products and solutions

Cons

Company out of touch with employees and salaries. I have been with the company for 20 + years with no promotion or sizable raise. Time off is never approved, and a 50-hour work week is common.

Remora to Cisco

Pros

Flexible environment: remote work options, flexible schedules, with some describing a "smaller-company feel" even within a larger organization

Cons

“Extreme’s strategy could be seen as that of a remora—following the Cisco whale, capitalizing on shifts and gaps they leave behind.”
