Smart co-workers. Good management and systems for traditional tech hardware.

Cons

Core product lines like projection and print are in declining markets. Epson needs a shot in the arm of innovation.

Cons

No chance for advancement, all upper management jobs are hired outside the company. Yearly layoffs, no warning, of the people who have been there longer, then they hire someone else at a lower salary.

Pros

Coworkers are great. The people you work with are typically great.

Cons

The merit increase is a joke. You can 2 people in the same department with the same job title, same metrics/KPI, and the same rating yet one gets double the percentage of the other person. What’s the difference you ask one is a man and the other is a female. Not to mention the increase is a slap in the face. Don’t worry you will be given additional task and you’ll need to cover for higher level positions, you you’re only with 1.5% merit increase. The company’s mentally is keep the folks that actually work and do the job well while you celebrate others that all they do is talles out themselves. How many managers have to come and go in the same department I a matter of 2-3 years in order this company to wake up and realize they are loosing great employees by keeping and promoting crapy ones. They keep taking away benefits, like hybrid days, bonuses, 401k, and medical coverage hikes, holidays and all they can say is Epson is staying competitive with the market??? What Epson is doing is blending in with other employers and not giving good employees a reason to want to stay no matter their tenure. They can’t seem to get it together on their projections and therefore the employees are paying the cost for the lack of due to their inability to project correctly. They have cut so many people do to “restructuring” of the company and forcing many in “retirement.” Everyone here can see what’s happening. You want to reduce cost here’s an idea take the company out of southern CA. Flow suit with other corporations and move to TX. That wouldn't make sense right? Too many executives love southern CA and rather cut people’s jobs to stay in CA. No clear path for career growth and not help from hour management team.

Pros

The company is known for maintaining a good work-life balance. Employees often highlight the flexibility and understanding of management when it comes to personal and family needs.

Cons

There have been some notable issues at Epson America related to mismanagement, particularly concerning their handling of printer software updates. A class action lawsuit was filed against Epson America, alleging that the company used software updates to disable printers that used third-party ink cartridges.

Pros

They talk about community, but don't act as one.

Cons

The push productive long time workers into retirement to save money by telling them they can quit or be fired. They scapegoat workers when things go wrong at the management level to save face. The new management team in credit and collections are poorly trained, ineffective, inappropriate, and lack basic human skills.

Poor management and favoritism

Pros

Blend of in office and remote work allowed is a very nice benefit.

Cons

Managers untrained, show favorism. No HR support. Staff does not trust managers or VPs and CEO Managers can make worklife hell if they want you out by overburdening you with assignments, changing rules and being verbally abusive.
