Pros

Some of the people there are nice to work with.

Cons

Zetron is dysfunctional on many levels. Unless you are one of the "old timers" (20-years or more) or are part of the "protected" upper management team, your chances of being successful are unfortunately limited. The "old timers" do nearly anything they can to invalidate your work by means of backstabbing. There are many unnecessary layers of upper management, and there have been many layoffs recently but none in upper management. They appear to be a dying company, where many of their customers are now going out of business. Zetron has attempted to move into the direct contact business, but the bigger and better players are winning the contact sales. And, the once strong individual product sales are a thing of the past. Because many of their new system products have been plagued with problems and very late to market, the industry has all but lost confidence in this company -- it's just a matter of time now.

Pros

Long lasting name in the industry. You can almost always find a piece of Zetron equipment in the backroom of every dispatch center.

Cons

After being purchased the feel of the company has changed.

Pros

The company offers a generally positive work environment, and team experiences can vary. Some teams are highly charismatic and collaborative.

Cons

The management above my level lacked focus and cohesion. There’s a notable gap between tribal knowledge and formal documentation, and leadership often struggles to balance technical involvement with providing clear, supportive direction.
