Pros

- WLB - Deadlines get extended most of the time so no real pressure - Cab service - Good food court(no free food tho)

Cons

- The quality of work is not good, you definitely wouldn't learn much The tech stack is quite old, no AWS or GCP in 2024 for even Data Scientists - Being a fresher you might feel like you know far more than your seniors - You keep working on same projects for years, seriously, I have seen a senior who joined with me and left in 2 years and he worked on just 1 project over the entire two years. - You don't get challenged much, the work you get depends on whether your manager likes you or not, if he doesn't he won't give you work and in the appraisal meeting will ask you why haven't you worked on many projects - The manager can give you low rating(below average) just because they feel like, they relly don't have to justify it, not at least to you. - ***The most important point*** - The normal curve fitting of ratings to all the employees Even after working like hell and presenting to senior leadership, doing exceptional work, ultimately your manager is going to give you the rating for that year or mid-year they believe you deserve with no justification needed and if he/she decides to give you below average rating, you can't do anything about it, nobody can do anything for you, this affects your promotion and hike. The best thing to do in such a situation is just leave the company or change the team through IJP, their ratings given to you are still going to dictate how you are perceived initially in the next team. So, the best option is to leave the company. This has happened to me and a few of my colleagues, I could not do anything as the manager kept giving me an "underperformer" rating just because he/she really disliked me and it has nothing to do with my potential and work done by then, please don't think that it's not gonna happen with you, if your manager is insane this might happen with you as well, so please maintain an excellent relationship with your manager or just change the teams until you can do that or leave the company

Pros

Benefits (but cost creeping up and coverage creeping down each year), Good Morale Both Management and Coworkers, and Honestly a Great Company.

Cons

Cross Selling is the only focus now, firing employees who are great at their job in every area that should matter but if the cross selling results are not meeting the ever ridiculous quota (which continues to rise) than you may not have a job next month. Expectation for customers to say yes to cross selling, leaving you with no real control of your job security. Stress!
