Pros

Not many - some good people worked there.

Cons

Working at Willis Towers Watson is a dismal experience. They offer no real career advancement opportunities – internally applying for a job could mean getting paid your current wage for six months before they reconsider. It's a system where external candidates are paid market rates while internal candidates are shortchanged. In essence, it's often more beneficial to leave and reapply from the outside. Their claim of being a company where careers can flourish is laughable. Despite managing a significant portion of the workload, the compensation doesn't reflect the value provided. For instance, handling a defined benefit scheme with minimal actuarial input but shouldering 90% of the workload resulted in meager salaries compared to what the client paid the company, leading to exorbitant profit margins. Now, they outsource to Manila but maintain a facade of being a UK-based expert firm, which speaks volumes about their lack of integrity. As a heartless corporation, they exhibit little regard for employees, evident in their high turnover rate. Moreover, their advocacy for mass immigration serves to undercut wages in developed countries, reflecting a concerning disregard for national interests. Management is abysmal – my boss, in particular, lacked competence and was more focused on exploiting company policies (maternity leave) for personal gain, rather than effectively leading the team. It was disheartening to witness her ignorance of team members' names while supposedly managing them. Additionally, they fail to honor bonuses earned during the previous calendar year if you leave in April of the following year. Despite the bonus being rightfully earned for the prior year's performance, they unjustly withhold it if you choose to depart, leaving you feeling disregarded.

Pros

Learning everything about Life insurance, annuities and health

Cons

They are quite two-faced. Thry gas you up thinking you are doing well then turn around and terminate you for any slight. For instance---you must be on camera during training but we were told if we were sick or not feeling too well, we can ask for accomodation. With the understanding that it would be taken into consideration. Well...it isnt. They throw it back in your face. They do not like criticism. Say something wrong, you're done. They listen in on the classes and even if they think you said something the complete opposite of what was said and taken out of context, they do not care about the truth for you bruised their ego. Do not believe them when they tell you you are doing good during training. Its more about how much you want to be under WTW's influence. In other words, NO CRITICISM IS ALLOWED. I would write more but this should suffice.
