Pros
- Rewarded for your efforts in both compensation and social events, but it is a demanding role so you should only consider it if you are willing to work hard. - It is a permanent in-office role, which I loved, as there is a real sense of camaraderie amongst teams and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with colleagues. - I understand that Verkada now makes greater effort in listening to its employees to make the London office more EMEA-centric in terms of strategy and in its treatment of employees as of late. - The MDR team specifically is flat in hierarchy and if you have a good idea you are listened to, as everyone is working together towards a common goal.
Cons
- Strategy, policy and quotas shift often and quickly, which can create unease as to the permanency of your role. - Whilst I was there, the career track was not that clear, but that is par for the course within a startup and it may have changed since.
