Pros
• Solid competitive SF Bay Area rates of compensation • Fantastic benefits (both in-office, for career, and personal development) • Ample opportunity to make career-defining internal and external impressions with big players in the tech field • Clear paths forward to help improve what we do and how we do it while making progress against personal and career trajectory • Awesome management and regular well-organized peer and management review cycles (2 per year) • Minimal micromanagement (at least, in my department) • Exciting work environment (especially since we are hitting quarterly targets and growing like gangbusters!) • Inspiring teams of big thinkers and all around impressive talent • Excellent intra-department communication
Cons
• Can be a little boy's clubby sometimes (a common issue across tech), especially across leadership roles • Room for improvement with inter-dep't. communication (namely, some folks seem to opt out of Slack, which can be hard to foresee/annoying to work around) • Sales culture overtones can be somewhat off-putting to people that don't historically work in that environment (although, conversely, it's also a driving force in the high energy that makes coming to work fun!)
