Pros
Hmmm... They pay a salary and you get benefits (better than being unemployed I guess.... Maybe).... Glass door makes you write at least 20 words for pros so I am just filling up space here.
Cons
Do you have an hour to read this?.... * Management is lackluster at best *Don't understand the meaning of S.M.A.R.T. Goals (even my 14 year old understands this) * Can't seem to figure out commission payments * Management choses favorites and assigns them to strongest performing territories * Your performance is not based on your own efforts * Data management company with a SERIOUS problem managing their own data * Doing a simple quote can turn into a week long task leaving prospects, customers, field reps and partners frustrated * Micromanagers in some situations * Expect you to close deals that should take months given their long sales cycle in just weeks or even days * No focus on particular products but rather have you prospect multiple different products at complete random with no structure * Lack of ability to plan * Lack of creative outside of the box thinking * Constantly throw unorganized spreadsheets at you as a method of "helping" * Constant changing of compensation plans I could go on, but I think you get the point! I would rather work at McDonald's!
